However, if you are the type that thinks that little animals are a good (and cute) thing, then listen up. One of the main sources of air pollution is from the gas burned by automobiles. This pollution kills off animals every day. The air becomes more difficult to breath and while people are hiding from the pollution in their air conditioned office and homes, the animals are the ones who suffer. Save a gallon of gas, save a red tailed squirrel.

So if you could care less about saving animals, perhaps you care about world peace. How can you promote world peace by saving gas? Think about it. The countries that tend to have the greatest oil reserves are some of the most unstable regimes in the world. Some even give tacit support to terrorist groups. Imagine if the terrorists had no more money left? Well, if the price of oil drops due to a drop in consumption, it will be these people who suffer while the rest of us rejoice.

We don't just consume two or three percent more oil each year, the world has been increasing its oil consumption by about twenty to thirty percent more. We simply cannot sustain this pace.

Don't worry, whatever your reason for saving gas, I have good news. It is not hard to save gas. There are so very easy strategies that don't cost anything and will instantly show up in savings at the pump. Just follow a few easy rules, and you will see a difference.
