Why Save Gas?Why should you save gas? You should save gas for many reasons. When you save gas, you help the environment. When you save gas, you can cut off the finances of terrorist groups. Most importantly for many people, you should save gas because you will then save money. Saving Gas Helps Little AnimalsIf you really do not care about the red tailed tree squirrel and his friends, skip this paragraph and go to the next. There are still reasons to save gas. However, if you are the type that thinks that little animals are a good (and cute) thing, then listen up. One of the main sources of air pollution is from the gas burned by automobiles. This pollution kills off animals every day. The air becomes more difficult to breath and while people are hiding from the pollution in their air conditioned office and homes, the animals are the ones who suffer. Save a gallon of gas, save a red tailed squirrel. Saving Gas Brings PeaceSo if you could care less about saving animals, perhaps you care about world peace. How can you promote world peace by saving gas? Think about it. The countries that tend to have the greatest oil reserves are some of the most unstable regimes in the world. Some even give tacit support to terrorist groups. Imagine if the terrorists had no more money left? Well, if the price of oil drops due to a drop in consumption, it will be these people who suffer while the rest of us rejoice. Saving Gas Will Save Your PocketSaving gas will also help you budget and save you money. If you are having trouble making ends meet (who isn't?), then this is one way to help yourself out. By saving on gas, you will be able to afford other things. So find ways to spend less money on gas and spend on other things instead. Save Gas Before It Runs OutNow many people may think I am being alarmist when I write that there is a limited amount of oil in the world. Of course, you cannot make gas from anything other than oil. Sure, the supply is still very large, but you must realize that global consumption is increasing every year. In fact, it is increasing at a very rapid pace. We don't just consume two or three percent more oil each year, the world has been increasing its oil consumption by about twenty to thirty percent more. We simply cannot sustain this pace. It's Not Tough to Save GasDon't worry, whatever your reason for saving gas, I have good news. It is not hard to save gas. There are so very easy strategies that don't cost anything and will instantly show up in savings at the pump. Just follow a few easy rules, and you will see a difference. If everyone who owned an automobile or truck followed these rules, worldwide oil consumption could be cut by millions of barrels of oil.
